How Much Longer Will they Stand?
I will forever love the open road; those endless stretches of highways with uninterrupted vistas of the horizon and if you are lucky a road side attraction worth a detour.
While I will agree that what we think of as abandoned buildings can be bitter sweet; I am always drawn to these relics of a bygone era, and happy when I get to explore them on my own.
I cannot help but wonder, how long these testaments, of what was once a coveted rite of passage for those who set out to experience the road, on Route 66, will stand.
