The Dialogue

My Father and Me

In all fairness, I cannot imagine who will care about this post, but I cannot help myself. This is a piece of a newsletter from Puerto Rico, in the mid-1960’s, when we lived on the island. Honestly, I wish I had the entire article, posted on the flip side, which deals with Cuba, but I do not.

However, I zoomed in a bit, on the two photographs; the one of the congregation, on the bottom and of the ministers, sitting on the platform, on top. My sister, Joy and I are featured in the front row, where we were obliged to sit, at church, and my Father is on platform.

The looks on our face are priceless, at least to me. I so wish I knew what we were both thinking!
