A View From the Road

The Hollywood Walk of Fame

I will never forget the first time my Father took us to Hollywood, shortly after we had moved to California, in the 1970’s. Always the perfect tour guide, even without funds, he knew exactly what would wow us; and Hollywood did not disappoint, in any way!

We did not watch a movie, at the famed Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, but we certainly enjoyed searching and finding the performers footprints, handprints, and names, that had been immortalized in cement. Also thrilling was walking on Hollywood Boulevard, seeing all of the stars imbedded on the sidewalk.

Of the many “stars” to be found, I thought this one an appropriate View to share with you this month!
