Zane Grey Road
My Father loved his cowboy novels; I am sorry that I never read Larry McMurtry or Zane Grey, while my Father was alive, we would have had some interesting conversations. Kate and I read Riders of the Purple Sage, aloud to one another, as we drove cross country; and yes, we did stop, on more than one occasion, to search for purple sage.
I do not know why I have not recommended the book, but it was well worth the read.
Zane Grey was born in Zanesville, Ohio, a city founded by his great-grandfather; and where, in the middle of night, I happened but this street, named after him.
