As the northeast gets ready for winter storm Stella, with the expectations of blizzardy conditions – here is a picture which Kate snapped, going south on the 95 – that will hopefully remind those of you preparing to deal with feet of snow that warmer days will come.

When we first saw the truck, I thought he was hauling bananas, which I found rather odd, as I think of bananas as an imported fruit; but as we got closer, we could read that the crates said bi-color and yellow. Perhaps, it is a little early for sweet summer corn, but fresh corn in any season is certainly a treat; and I also loved the notion that the “small” farmer is hard at work, helping to feed America!  Stay warm New England.
