George H. W. Presidential Library
It is hard for me to believe that is has been almost twenty years since we visited the George H. W. Presidential Library; I am glad I saved the dated ticket.
Sadly, I do not have pictures of our visit. The Library is located at 1000 George Bush West, College Station, Texas; and while it has been a while, I could not more highly recommend you consider a visit.
The Library’s website is excellent, and in scrolling through their pages, I see many of the exhibits which we enjoyed on our visit; the Library covers not only the President’s time at the White House, but his and his families lives, including his time in the military.
I do feel that a return visit may be in our future.
“Dedication Day, November 6, 1997”
What a gathering of Presidents and First Ladies: From left to right, Lady Bird Johnson, President Jimmy Carter, Rosalynn Carter, President George H. W. Bush, Barbara Bush, President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, President Gerald Ford, Betty Ford, and Nancy Regan –taken on November 6, 1997
“Presidents George Bush and Ronald Regan – March 1991”
I know it is not a “real” hand written, personal letter; but I have to say I was pretty thrilled when it arrived.
The private family home, that I along with all many others, take all visitors to Maine, to see;
I bought the post card in Texas.

“I’m not trying to get myself up a notch on the ladder by shoving somebody else down on the ladder, whether it’s a candidate or the president of the United States or anybody else. I just don’t believe that’s the way one oughta campaign, I’ve never done that.”
