I love the unexpected; it is always wonderful when I go looking for a particular place or thing and find it, but there is something rather delightful about coming upon an unexpected treat, like public art in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Strolling around Gazebo Park, on a very bright and beautiful day, filled with sparkling sun, I unexpectedly came across all of this public art!
Now, with the exception of the manatee, I cannot say that these pieces are in line with my personal taste, but I love the notion of public art and sheer joy that these works speak to. It is lovely that Ft. Pierce has chosen to beautify itself with art, available for all to enjoy.
