Tow – Away – Zone
This photograph was taken in the City of Miami Beach; away from the touristy Art Deco and sandy beach part of the city.
I have no idea who the boy, sitting on the chain is, or how long he was there, before I came upon him, or how long he stayed after I left — but I so wish I did, and I wish I knew what he was thinking, starring out at the view of the empty parking lot.
There were no other children around nor did I see a bicycle or skateboard; it was just him at the very edge of permissible access.
